Political Style Buckles for the Belt Cross Strap, Still in the Original
Cellophane Paper Packet, Sealed with a RZM Tag
This offering is unique – but I love these kinds of
packaged items – right out of the box, you can almost see them in your mind,
stocked in the back of the shop. These are the buckles that were used on the
political style (shoulder) cross strap. There are six buckles in the cellophane
and all appear to be in excellent condition. The cellophane is the crinkly brown
translucent paper that was used for a multitude of purposes. There is a long,
narrow paper RZM tag affixed to the packet, starting on one side, folded over
one end, and running a bit onto the other side. There is a small rip in the
cellophane at the top left corner of the tag. The tag printed with “6
Schiebeschnallen nach Vorschrift der Reichszeugsmeisterei der NSDAP” (“6
Sliding Buckles in accord with the regulations of the RZM of the NZDAP”). Very
unusual and interesting accessory in the original packaging.
