B-123a Navy Other Ranks Koppelschloß (Buckle) in Steel, Blue Combat Paint
Nice Other Ranks buckle that might in fact be either post- 1943 Army or Navy
(no way to tell which), with 90% of the dark greyish- blue combat paint. There is
some wear to the eagle’s breast (very little feather details remain) and
there is some very light oxidation within the roundel and around the “Gott mit
uns” motto, but overall the buckle obverse is in pretty good condition. The
reverse has the long, narrow diameter “U” bar-style catch, with flanged,
flat feet. The buckle lip is marked “J.F.S.”. A choice, handsome
