This example has a bright pebbled finish There is moderate wear to
the highlights of the buckle face, especially to the eagle’s body and wings.
The reverse has the soldered ramp type belt catch, with an aluminum roll bar and
prongs. It is marked at the catch end “R. S. & S.”, the initials of the
manufacturer, Richard Seiper & Sohne, Lüdenscheid. A sound, representative
example overall!
