B-186  Luftwaffe Enlisted Man’s Stamped Aluminum Buckle with Leather Tab
This example, in pebbled aluminum, has toned lightly over the years. There is moderate wear to the highlights of the buckle face, especially to the eagle’s body and wings. The reverse has the soldered ramp belt catch, with an aluminum roll bar and prongs. There is a manufacturer’s stamp on the brown leather tab, this indicates it was produced by Friedrich Linden of Lüdenscheid and is dated 1938. Also seen on the tab is a stamp indicating the buckle was issued to a flight school in Fürth. A great example overall!
