B-193b Forestry Official’s Aluminum Buckle with
Keeper
Handsome round aluminum buckle with the National eagle within an oak
leaf wreath in the configuration for the Forestry Service. This buckle was meant
to be used with the brocade belt. This is a two-piece buckle, with the catch
being a separate piece. The keeper is aluminum, and is fixed to the buckle. The
reverse is marked with the motto of the maker, F.W. Assmann o& Sohne of Lüdenscheid.
There is virtually no wear to either the finish or the highlights on this
excellent example!
