By Werner Fantur. Hardcover publication measuring about
6" by 9" commemorating the German invasion of Norway. The book
is set in western typeface, with some interesting photos. The text is
informative, with some “Troop recollections” that add a neat personal note.
The cover panels were secured to the spine with cloth, which has worn through
leaving the panels nearly loose (with light soiling and minor spots); the
binding is also going so the pages are separating into their individual leaved
sections – though still in very good condition. A handwritten inscription
opposite the title page notes: “Wartime Christmas 1942, 1. A. St. K.
Neustrelitz” and below this “Kptlt. M.Au. Komp.Chef (=Kapitänleutnant
Marine Artillerie u. Kompanie Chef / Lieutenant, Naval Artillery and Company
Commander). Neat book! 240 pages.
