C-007a Set of Early Army Sew-In Shoulder Boards
for a “Beobachter” (Forward Observer) in Artillery Regiment 13
A really neat set of boards with the tops in thin, super short napped
blue–green badge cloth, piped in the “hochrot” (bright red) cord of the
Artillery branch, and with a Fraktur (gothic) “B” for Beobachter, and the
regimental number “13” chain-stitched directly on the board surfaces –
very nice! There is some tracking to a portion of the board surfaces, and a few
small holes.
