Aluminum Bullion Breast Eagle – Used
Fairly worn bird right off a tunic, with the stitch holes visible
around the backing edge. There’s some light soiling; the aluminum bullion is a
bit toned, and abrasion has apparently worn the bullion threads off some
portions of the left wing, most noticeably. The bullion is the standard smooth
wrapped wire for the body and main wing feathers, with “krinkled wire” used
for the curved rows of inner feathers. Overall it’s a fine bird and a rare
example!
