C-606 Scarce “Bahnhofswache” (Railway Station
Guard) Armband
This interesting example has a lightweight white cloth field with the
machine woven script “Bahnhofswache” (“Railway Station Guard”) in black
cloth thread. These were used by members of the Armed Forces, including the
Waffen-SS, to patrol and control Troop movement on railway stations of
importance, especially at main line terminals. The ends are sewn together. There
is some very minor discoloration, otherwise excellent!
