“Reichsführer-SS” Enlisted Man’s Cufftitle, Worn
Salty machine woven Enlisted Man’s cufftitle for soldiers serving
in the Division named for the head of the SS, Reichsführer-SS Himmler. The
original color was surely the usual pale grey, but fading and soiling have
shifted the color to more of a very pale brown. There is considerable abrasion
wear, with assorted nicks and frayed spots to the edge. The cufftitle measures
about 15.5” long, with the left end cut short and frayed – it reaches only
three inches past beyond the first letter of the title. The remaining end has
the fold onto the reverse. Very heavy wear and moderate damage - but no less
desirable!
