C-951 Indirect Veteran-Acquired Cap Insignia for
Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) “Other Ranks” Headgear
This style was used on the “Robin Hood” Cap, the Overseas Cap and
the Field Cap as well as “Other Ranks” personnel of the RAD. It is a
machine embroidered insignia over a dark chocolate brown background, which has a
silver/grey cloth for the wheat sprigs, shovel handle and face. A red cloth is
used for the outer shovel face, and black is used for the swastika. We have a
few excellent, unissued examples available.
