D-007a Telegram to Hewel with Congratulations on
Promotions from “Heydrich SS-Gruppenfuehrer”
This telegram was also sent through the German National Postal
Service (Deutsche Reichspost) to Hewel with congratulations on his “being
named” - i.e. the announcement of his promotion to the position of Lecturing
Legation Councilor (Vortragenden Legationsrat). The message closes with “Heil
Hitler, Heydrich SS Gruppenfuehrer”. Very sound condition other than for a
common two-holes punch along the left edge – which is also slightly ragged.
Some slight age yellowing. Meausres approximately 5.75” by 8.25” and
overall, a nice document!
