E-300a Eickhorn Felt Sword
Hilt Cover
This piece is from my personal collection! The
off-white felt cover shows minor wear/age. The obverse side is red ink
stamped with the Eickhorn “1935-41 trademark”. However, the stamping
has faded, but is still readable and very presentable! Under the
two-piece snap clip is red ink-stamped “Beachten Sie das/ Eichhornchen/auf der
Klinge” which means "Notice the squirrel on the blade". An
illustration of this hilt pattern cover appears in the Eickhorn “Kundendienst”.
A RARE accoutrement that is a MUST for the serious Eickhorn Sword collector.
