E-301c 98K Black Leather Bayonet Frog
This is a standard K-98 black leather frog showing much wear/age.
It is the style having the four rivet construction with retaining strap.
The rough textured leather is fairly sound showing wear and age. The black
color exhibits minor color loss, grading 90% with most of the loss appearing to
the obverse side. There is a tear to the lug clearance hole which is NOT
unusual. The reverse side is NOT stamped! The retaining strap is
intact as is the boss, which exhibits extensive wear and fraying. An
appropriate place holder or for someone on a budget! Very good.
