Official’s Leather Service Hanging Straps
I recently purchased one of the finest accoutrement
collections anywhere, and this gem was one of the collection’s centerpieces!
All I can say is FANTASTIC! The hangers measure 10.5" in overall
length, rating near mint! GORGEOUS! All the metal fittings have a
gold wash that easily rates 95%! The upper snap clip is the “plain
variety” with the reverse side deeply marked “D.R.G.M.”. The
“medium brown” leather straps are the “folded-over and sewn” style and
remain very supple showing some minimal wear/age! The buckles are
“rectangular” type having a beautiful pebbled finish, which matches the
finish on the slides. The lower snap clips are the “push-in” style and
are unmarked! A MUST for the serious Government or accoutrement collector!
This set will be featured in an upcoming major reference book. Near mint.
