E-430 Early SA Dagger by Henckels
This SA Dagger is a BEAUTY! Tough to find them like this!
The fittings are solid nickel and are uncleaned and untouched. The
crossguards maintain crisp edges and smooth surfaces. The reverse lower
guard is Group-stamped ‘Wf’ for ‘Westfalen’. The grip is a most
impressive mahogany color with an outstanding vertical grain and fairly sharp
contour ridge, grading full excellent. The grip-to-guard fit is perfect!
The SA button is beautifully set and in excellent shape. The grip eagle is
the high-necked variety displaying faint highlight wear. The blade is a gem
having a deep etch and crisp SA motto. The overall appearance is bright
and shiny with crisp edges and tip. The crossgraining grades 100% with
faint in and out marks. The reverse of the blade is stamped with the popular and
desirable dancing men Henckels logo. The scabbard shell is totally straight on
both sides. The anodizing and original factory lacquer both grade 90%, and
I’m being very conservative! The solid nickel fittings are in
outstanding condition. The four domehead side screws are intact and untouched.
It’s complete with a very nice, original to the piece, brown leather hanger. A
very attractive piece! Won’t last long! Strong excellent.
