E-489 Italian Youth Dagger
These pieces were carried by the Italian Youth (G.I.L.) members. The
eagle headed hilt has 85% of its gilt finish intact. The red glass eyes on the
stylized eagle are present. The black painted wooden handle is excellent and the
brass wire strands are present but one is broken. The nickel plated blade is
very clean and has never been touched or sharpened. The lightweight brown
leather scabbard with single belt loop on the reverse is in excellent condition.
This is scarce to find on these daggers. Very collectible.
