E-531 TENO Officer’s Dagger By Eickhorn
Very sound, early example with matched numbers on blade and upper
scabbard fitting (0614). The plated fittings on the hilt display a minimum loss
of plating on the cogwheel pommel cap and also the crossguard. A small amount of
the burnishing remains on the hilt. The scabbard is a real gem with a nice
percentage of the antique burnishing present. The blade has the original leather
buffer under the crossguard, along with the iconic trademarks associated with a
TeNo dagger. The blade would rate at full excellent, except for a minor bend in
the last half inch of the blade at the tip. Overall condition is still near
excellent.
