E-659 SA Dagger by F. Dick
This is interesting, as I purchased it from the family of the Veteran
(I do not use this line very often). However, it’s mismatched, as the
dagger is early but the scabbard is RZM vintage. When you see this piece,
you’ll absolutely know they have been together for an extremely long time, as
the patina on the fittings is absolutely identical. That being said, it’s
still mismatched. All the untouched fittings are damage-free. The handle has a
few different tones of brown but no damage or chips. The eagle and SA runic
button is intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped “Wm”. The
painted scabbard retains 98% of the original paint. The blade has many water
spots but the “All for Germany” motto is clear. There are some light
in and out marks, which is normal. The maker mark and logo on reverse of blade
is lightly stamped “F. Dick” Priced accordingly.
