F-206a Luftwaffe Bread Bag
Very representative piece, with some light fading to the bottom and
minor soiling. It is the standard blue canvas-like material used for Luftwaffe
bread bags. Though worn, it is quite serviceable, though looks to have been
modified with the normal corner belt loops removed and converted to short tabs
with “D” rings, and no center strap. The top curves of the loops are
reinforced with smooth black leather. The small “D” rings at the top of the
bag’s backside are also present. The two black leather straps on the underside
of the bag’s top flap are present, but have narrowed a bit while stiffening up
– they will need some good leather treatment. The three zinc buttons are
present. Nice!
