F-207a WWII German Soldier’s Hand Carved Walking
Stick
This walking stick measures 38” in length (96.5cm). It has a nice,
deliberate curvature to it along with a well formed knob for your hand (which
has a few cracks in it). A few quite detailed patterns are seen on this one,
including those of a checkerboard, diamonds, triangles and parallel lines. The
owners initials, “H. H.”,( No it’s not the H.H. you are thinking of) are
seen toward the top of the stick along with the date 1943. Also seen is a flower
and a pair of hearts with an arrow protruding through them. A large Iron Cross
is carved just below this. The end is finished off by an aluminum cap (which
looks like a shell or flare casing), this shows some wear meaning this
definitely saw some use! An above average example overall!
