Rectangular shaped metal case with oval, hinged lids on each end.
This example has the early tinned metal finish and it measures approximately
5.25” by 3.25” by .75”. This kit is complete with most of its original
components, including the chain, brushes, oiler and cleaning pad. The maker’s
name is stamped onto the oiler, which is GAppel (for Gustav Appel of Berlin-Spandau)
as is the date of production, 1938. A near excellent example overall!
