F-231b Excellent, Unissued Soft Shell P-38 Holster
If you are looking for a near mint, unissued holster of this type
then look no further! This one is a beauty, with just light wear to the black
finished leather. Another nice feature is that crisp and clear stampings on the
reverse, to include “P-38” as well as the maker ordnance code “gxy”,
which indicates production by Gebr. Klinge Lederwarenfabrik of Dresden-Loebtau.
The date of production, 1945, is stamped as well. This one would be hard to
upgrade!
