F-251 Waffen-SS Zeltbahnen (Shelter Quarter)
This example is in the oak leaf pattern as used by Waffen-SS
personnel. The colors (minor fading but very clean) include a mixture of greens
and browns on one side with the other (autumn) side having more browns and
oranges. Most of the buttons are present. The buttons and grommets are zinc.
There is a 6” tear on one corner, with only a small amount of the material
missing. There are two much smaller tears in the body, these are very minor and
not missing material. One of the edges has the number “5” ink stamped onto
it. A good example overall of this desirable artifact!
