F-266a WWII German Salve Canister
This is produced in a lightweight metal finished in red. The upper
lid is stamped “Frostschutzsalbe” followed by a maker’s name and “SS-Packung”.
The canister is 2” in diameter (5cm). I tried to open it with no luck, but it
is a bit heavy so I would bet there is some material left inside! A great
accessory!
