FL-49 Two-Sided DDAC Pennant
Very cool pennant, made from two triangular pieces of cloth together,
with what looks like a machine woven DDAC insignia as you might find on an
athletic shirt mounted on each side, along with a chain embroidered cross of
red thread, with black borders. The pennant is in good condition, with only
light soiling / slight age yellowing to the white field, but also a few short,
diagonal slits in each side (within the insignia and a bit of the red cross)
though none are completely through both layers of fabric (i.e. you cant put
your finger through one and have it come through the other side); from a
distance they are almost non-distinguishable. The hoist is wrapped in a white
leatherette material, which surrounds a vertical metal bar. The bar extends
slightly past the hoist edges, and ends in a ring. Despite the cuts, quite a
sharp little pennant, measuring approximately 8 by 13 overall.
