FL-52 Unknown, Two-Sided Pennant
The two sides of this pennant are completely different, with
the obverse being a black cotton fabric (white piped edges) with
separately-applied white cotton letters “O III Rb” (this meaning is unknown
to me). It measures approximately 14.5” (hoist) by 27.5” (fly).
The fabric is in very good condition, though some of the letters (especially the
“b”) show heavy soiling. The reverse side shows the standard party colors,
with red pennant field, a separately-applied white disk, and a crisply printed
swastika. This side shows moderate soiling to both the field and the disk, but
no damage of any sort. The hoist no longer has any visible means of suspension
– no ropes, or loops. Nonetheless a very neat piece!
