FL-54a Scarce Two-Sided DLV Pennant with
Blue Field
Interesting pennant, measuring approximately 6’ by 11.5”, with
the DLV insignia (red ring, with superimposed white wings, propeller and black
swastika chain stitch embroidered onto a vertically ribbed blue field.
There is some light soiling and color wear to portions of the field,
particularly near the tip, but no damage whatsoever to the fabric or insignia.
The pennant’s outer edge is piped by means of a saw-tooth stitch in white
thread. The white colored hoist has a small, cord loop at the top, but nothing
at the bottom. Sharp-looking piece!
