FL-68 Choice, One-Sided Podium Banner
Handsome piece for the front of a speaker’s podium, in very tightly
woven bright red cotton, which is in near spotless condition. The banner
measures slightly over 34.5” by 38’, with a 2” fringe of thin, twisted
white cotton strands on the bottom edge of the banner. It has a narrow
(about an inch wide) inset white frame border which forms an almost square
around a separately applied white disk made of thin, slightly loose weave
cotton. The swastika is separately applied, multi-piece construction. The
banner is extremely clean, and the hoist (which is at the top) has a crimped
bronze ring tied off to each corner for mounting; loose threads indicate there
was once a ring at the center position as well, but this is now gone. Very clean
and a real nice display size!
