FL-77 Battle Flag, As Used by the Army, Luftwaffe and SS
This battle flag measures 31.5” tall by 53” long (marked 80 x 135). It is
produced with a red bunting material, it is two-sided and features a printed
insignia producing a mirror image reverse. It has some moderate discoloration
(including yellowing) and a few small holes. The upper and lower corners of the
hoist end are reinforced with additional material, as is the fly end. The hoist
end has a heavy white bunting material sewn over it forming a section through
which a rope lanyard would be. The rope lanyard is not present and the
reinforcement is ripped at each end, as the lanyard must have been removed. The
reinforcement is stamped with the size, description and maker's name. A sound
example, great size for display!
