FL-78a Battle Flag, As Used by the Army, Luftwaffe
and SS
This battle flag measures 79” tall by 132” long (marked 200cm x 335cm). It
is produced with a red cloth, it is two-sided and features a printed insignia
producing a mirror image reverse. It is very clean (slight discoloration) and
totally damage-free! The upper and lower corners of the flag are reinforced with
additional stitching as is the fly end (which also has additional material). The
hoist end has a heavy white bunting material sewn over it forming a section
through which a rope lanyard would be. The rope lanyard is not present and the
reinforcement is ripped at each end, as the lanyard must have been removed. The
reinforcement is stamped with the size, description of the flag (Reichskriegsflg.)
and the word Fahnenträger (Standard Bearer). Near excellent and a great display
size!
