FL-83a Battle Flag, As Used by the Army, Luftwaffe
and SS
This battle flag measures approximately 63” long by 35” wide
(160cm x 89cm) or approximately 5.25’ x 3’, a great display size. Produced
with a smooth bunting material, it is two-sided and features a printed insignia,
producing a mirror image reverse. The hoist end has a white bunting material
sewn over a rope lanyard. The top end of the lanyard has a loop formed for
hanging the flag. Each corner is reinforced with a square of additional material
as well. There are a few holes in the field, one has missing material and
measures about 1.5” square. There are multiple areas of discoloration as well.
A sound, representative example overall!
