M-005 Very Rare Bullion Balloon

A superb example with the balloon and basket, surrounded by a half
wreath of oak leaves, hand embroidered in aluminum bullion on a slightly oval
patch of fine quality, medium grey wool/felt, with a fine weave black (or very
dark blue) cloth protective backing covering the fragile anchoring threads for
the embroidery on the reverse. The grey felt oval measures about 2.5” from top
to bottom, and is in excellent condition with only one tiny spot of tracking to
the plush napped surface. Perfect display piece.
