M-019 Eagle Order Third Class, with Out Swords (or
Fifth Class)
Very impressive award, in outstanding condition! The Maltese cross is
handsome, with the white inlaid enamel near perfect with only microscopic
surface crazing. The gilt finish to the eagles and to the edges of the cross has
a very subtle toning. The ribbon affixed to the suspension ring (the side of the
ring is stamped “21” for Godet) at the top of the award is a real crisp,
spotless beauty, with a handsome triangular-folded bottom as it passes through
the ring. At the rear top of the ribbon there is an attachment pin.
