Female Reichsbahn Staff Services Badge for 1944, Prong-Back
This is the first one of these rare badges that I have ever had.
In fact, it's the first one I've ever seen offered. It is a
beautiful, if small, solid-backed metal badge showing the distinctive Reichsbahn
insignia of oval laurel leaf wreath with superimposed, winged train wheel. The
piece is finished in nickel/silver, with matte frosted flat areas and
“polished edges” that give the badge an extremely high quality look - bright
silver gleams here and there. The finish is in superb condition. The reverse is
toned quite dark. There are two flat bladed prongs soldered to the reverse. An
extremely sharp looking piece!
