M-199 Case (ONLY!) for WWI Iron Cross 1st Class
This is produced in pebbled black leatherette which shows moderate
wear to the exterior. An image of the award is rendered in silver on the top
lid. Inside, the upper lid is lined in ribbed white rayon, while the
compartmented lower section is lined in a white flocking material. There is
moderate discoloration, so you can see the “ghost” of the EKI which was
originally housed in this case. The latch doesn’t lock the box completely, so
it does not close all the way. This would be great to display open to show off
your cross. A representative example!
