M-340 1943 Pattern Eagle Order Medal of Merit Without Swords
Originally a bronze example that has lost all of its finish from the
zinc base metal. It is a crisp strike that displays little or no wear. The
reverse has the 1943 (Latin script) pattern “Deutsche Verdienst Medaille”
inscription. The original ribbon is included with a pin. The suspension ring
still retains most of the bronze finish and is maker stamped “30”. A sound,
representative example of a desirable decoration!
