M-999 Haltet einander die Treue, Hans Schemm
5.3.1935” ("Hold True to One Another”); Molded Bakelite
Another of the many tinnies commemorating the Gauleiter of
Oberfranken Hans Schemm, who was killed in 1935. This one is molded in dark grey
bakelite with a silver wash finish on the obverse and has a diameter of about
1.25. The image is crisp with high, detailed relief. Some of the wash has faded,
but a majority remains. The pin on the unmarked reverse is lightly bent, but
functions with no problem. Excellent piece!
