S-006 Silver Beverage Chiller
Unique item! We are not sure exactly what this was intended for, as
it appears to be too small to fit a regular sized bottle of champagne or
wine. It is two separate pieces, with a sleeve that fits precisely into a
groove in the top opening. This stands 7 tall and has a 3.75 diameter
opening (17.8cm x 9.5cm) while the sleeve measures is 4.75 tall with an
opening of 2.75 (12cm x 7cm). The silver plating remains nearly fully intact,
with a small amount of finish loss on the separately applied base. There is also
some verdigris seen where the base and cup intersect. Deeply incised into the
face is a Political style eagle and swastika. Underneath the base, this is
stamped by the manufacturer, Wellner, along with the number 14. Near
excellent condition!
