S-012 Unique Silver Sugar Bowl with Spoon
This neat sugar bowl amazingly retains its original glass dish and
bakelite spoon! It measures 3.75” (9.5cm) from the top of the finial to the
base, with a 4” (10.2cm) diameter hinged lid (slightly larger at the base).
The lid has a notch for the spoon. The silver finish remains virtually fully
intact, having taken on a deep, rich patina. There are a few light splotches in
the finish, which I am sure will clean up should you choose to do so. The lid
displays (90 degrees from the handle) a deeply incised Political style eagle. To
the side of the handle, on the upper frame, is where the maker, Art.Krupp,
Berndorf stamped his name. Also seen is their motto, which is circular and
features a bear in the center, with the name and location written around the
circumference. Near excellent and very unique!
