S-016 Formal Adolf Hitler Coffee

This spectacular silver plated coffee pot by Wellner is an
extremely handsome piece in excellent condition (and still nicely in polish),
complete with the attached, pivoting lid. It is nicely sculpted, though pretty
conservative in terms of form, and the plating is in fine condition with
hardly any patina. The eagle and “A H” monogram are crisp and clearly
positioned on the upper side of the pot - facing you when you pour with the
right hand. The cover hinge functions perfectly, with no squeak, yet enough
tension for it to remain vertical when swung open. The handle has the thumb rest
along the upper front edge. Truly an outstanding piece and well marked on the
bottom “Wellner 170cl.” (cubic liters), and “39”. One of the most
desirable of all the formal A.H. dining pieces and one of the very few on the
market today!
