S-016 Silver 70cl. Milk Dispenser
This size was used as a milk (either hot or cold) dispenser. It
measures 5.5” (14cm) tall, with a 2.13” (5.6cm) diameter opening which has a
gracefully executed spout. The fully intact silver plating has taken on a deep,
rich patina, it is very handsome! Deeply incised into the side of the pot is a
Political style eagle. The handle is nicely detailed with two groups of rings.
Underneath the base is where the maker, Wellner, stamped his name. Also seen is
the capacity is listed in metrics (70cl.) and the number “18”. Excellent
condition!
