S-017 Silver 25cl. Sugar Bowl
This double handled sugar bowl measures 3.5” (8.9cm) from the top
of the finial to the base and has a precisely fitted, separate lid that measures
2.75” (7cm) in diameter. Each of the handles is nicely detailed with two
groups of rings. The fully intact silver plating has taken on a rich, slightly
golden patina, giving it a handsome look! Deeply incised into the side of the
pot is a Political style eagle. Underneath the base is where the maker, Krupp,
Berndorf stamped his name. Also seen is their motto, which is circular and
features a bear in the center, with the name and location written around the
circumference. Here is where the capacity is listed in metrics (25cl.).
