S-057  Handsome Formal Pattern Hermann Göring Napkin
This formal pattern napkin would have been used on special occasions, most likely at one of Göring’s residences, such as Carinhall. It is large, measuring approximately 23.5” square, and meant to cover the users torso and lap completely. The high quality, very soft white linen has a satiny like feel and sheen to it. The upper and lower edges are hemmed. There is some very minor discoloration to a few areas of the napkin, and one tiny hole. The monogram consists of the familiar Göring family coat of arms machine embroidered to the center of the napkin in a white cloth thread, with a mirror image on the reverse. A scarcely seen, very desirable item! We have only one of these. Another MAX Show 2009 score!
