Talk about an exotic item! This is the ultimate item for you
Luftwaffe collectors out there! It is produced in aluminum, with a black finish.
There is a synthetic rubber material added for grip to the handle where the
pilot’s hand would be. There are a total of four buttons (all made of a brown
bakelite), the one on the left side top (has a small piece missing) of the
handle is an on/off, while the other three offer a direct action when engaged.
The front button is activated by a zinc lever; when pulled, the lever pushes
against and activates the button. The front center of the handle has an aluminum
cover, which protects all of the electronics that were utilized, along with a
wiring diagram on the inside of it. The back side has a data plate which
includes the model number (KG 13 B) and manufacturer’s information. There is a
capital letter “G” stamped into the handle itself. Inside, you can see all
of the wiring that comes from the box before working its way to the buttons. One
of the original bolts and nuts that would have attached the handle to the stick
is included. A rarely encountered item that is sure to fly!
