S-070 SS Saddle Blanket

would it be conceivable to find anything so wild, which is also 100%
original! This
unique item was offered to me and I said to myself "I have to have that!".
Altogether, it measures approximately 42” from one end to the other and 26”
from top to bottom. This is not an exact measurement, because of the unusual
shape of this piece to fit the contour of the body of the horse. It is made of a
thick padded black felt material. With the exception of a few wear spots, the top is in nice shape and the underside is
very sound. The is a wide silver bullion tape (measuring .75" wide) has that
special design to it associated with the SS. What puts this over the top are the
two huge bullion SS skulls! One of each is situated in what would be the lower
corner of the back of the blanket. These measure 4 1/8” from top to bottom and
the span of the bones is about 4 ¼” . One of these has a few strands that are
loose, but is otherwise it is in near excellent shape. The other skull has more of a
'
headache', as quite a bit of the bullion strands in the head missing, revealing the
white lame underside. This comes with a reprint of a ad for horse accessories
and a print of a saddle blanket in use. Certainly
