S-504a Fire/Police Other Ranks Visor Cap Eagle (Hoheitszeichen für
die Feuerpolizei Schirmmütze)
These eagles follow the Police eagle format of eagle and swastika superimposed
over an oval wreath (but the wreath has laurel leaves), with the wings
overlapping the wreath edges - but it’s slightly smaller. The strike is super
crisp, and the bird has a lightly toned, frosted nickel/silver finish with some
polished highlights. There’s some very light toning. The reverse is quite
dark, and both prongs are missing. A sound, representative example!
