S-549 Second Pattern Edelweiss Cipher for Mountain

This is the second pattern of the edelweiss device that was seen sewn
to the side of field caps worn by Gebirgsjager personnel. It is produced in
silver finished aluminum and has a separately applied gilt stamen. The reverse
is RZM marked and stamped with the maker code M1/148 for Heinr. Ulbrichts Witwe.
