S-806 Huge Lot of Pictures Featuring WWII German
Chaplains, Funerals and Graves
This large lot includes 26 black and white (matte and glossy) photos
of various sizes, the largest being 5” by 7” (12.7cm by 17.8cm). Nearly all
of these pictures are featured in the excellent book on the subject by Mark
Hayden entitled, German Military Chaplains in World War II (available on our
website as BK-86 ). The pictures in the
group are of soldiers’ graves, funeral processions and funeral services being
performed by Chaplains. Some are press releases and have hand-written or typed
identification on the reverse. All are good condition, with some minor edge wear
on a few. A fantastic grouping, with many rarely-seen pictures! Limited
space only allows us to give you a sampling of the scope of this group!
