HG-11 Army Enlisted Man’s Visor Cap for Pioneer

Very sharp example was recently purchased from a very advanced
collection. This is a regulation, textbook, issue piece with a very nice shape
and overall excellent look. There are three or four little bites to the top of
the cap, but otherwise the condition of the piping and the body is sound. The
black piping is for Engineer (Pioneer) Troops. The early brushed aluminum eagle
and wreath are nicely matched and original to the cap. The size 56 liner with
complete moisture shield looks virtually unworn. The underside of the totally
undamaged brown leather sweatband has the maker’s information and is dated
1937. This one goes just about to the top shelf.
