HG-17 Handsome Army Officer’s Overseas Cap
Excellent issue quality cap produced in a field grey tricot wool,
which is flawless! The upper and front edges are piped in bright silver bullion.
Flat wire (with green background) Army insignia has been hand applied to the
front of the cap. An Officer’s cockade is in place below the eagle, with
a red felt bull’s eye and shiny silver bullion piping. The size stamped 54
(twice) interior is fully lined in an interesting salmon colored rayon. The
forehead area has a grey leatherette sweatband, which is like new! An excellent,
very collectible example!
